Back in May I celebrated my 33rd Birthday! Wow, crazy how fast time flies.
I took the day off work and Jen and I went and  pedicures.

Tulip Festival

This year I went to the Tulip Festival at Thanksgiving Point. I've been to the gardens before but not when the tulips are in full bloom. It was beautiful.

If you haven't had a chance to go, you should make plans to go next year.  It really is beautiful to see.

Milwaukee Regional

Milwaukee

mill-e-wah-que

Every time we go to Milwaukee I think of Wayne’s World

Wayne Campbell: So, do you... come to Milwaukee often?

Alice Cooper: Well, I'm a regular visitor here, but Milwaukee has certainly had its share of visitors. The French missionaries and explorers began visiting here in the late 16th century.

Pete: Hey, isn't "Milwaukee" an Indian name?

Alice Cooper: Yes, Pete, it is. In fact , it's pronounced "mill-e-wah-que" which is Algonquin for "the good land."

Wayne Campbell: I was not aware of that.
It still cracks me up.
Mill e wah que was our last regional for the spring season. It was a great show. We had 900 people there. We also went to a shoe box swap. It was my virgin voyage and I didn’t know what to expect. It was so much fun and loved every card I got to make. You guys were awesome to let us come.

The group for one last picture for the season.

We also ate at an awesome Thai place. I always have a fun time traveling with my team and it was a fun season.

Columbus, Ohio

Back in February I went to Columbus for a regional. We had a layover in Atlanta and our flight was delayed. So basically we got in late and then had to set up. Good thing Derek went in early and started setting up or we would have been there forever.

The restaurant next to the hotel was Max and Erma’s. We ate a really late dinner and had to have the freshly baked cookies. Oh they were tasty.

We always like to try different restaurants that we don’t have around here so we went to a place that was recommended to us called Tip Top Kitchen. We called and they didn’t take reservations so we hurried over there. It was a good thing we went when we did because it was a small place and we had to wait a little bit. It was a Saturday night after all. We tried fried green beans which were fabulous! Isn’t anything fried fabulous. We heard they were known for their pot roast, so I tried their pot roast sandwich. Wow, I had died and gone to heaven. It was delicious! I’m so glad we went.
Columbus was an awesome show and I’m glad we went.

At dinner one night Robynn was telling us that when she was little, her mom would give her a spoon full of Vick's vaporub when she was getting a cold. We all about died. Bonnie just happened to have some Vick's with her so she surprised Robynn for a little afternoon snack. That's just wrong!!!
Carrie, me, Shannon, and Donna
After the regional we went to a fabulous Greek place for dinner.

Leadership- San Antonio 2012

This year our Leadership conference was in San Antonio, TX. It's always great to go somewhere warm in January. San Antonio is a fabulous city and the Riverwalk is a blast. Once we landed we had an afternoon to hit the town. Our first stop was the Alamo.
Me, Mike and Jen

Pam and I

That night we had dinner on the Riverwalk. We ate at Casa Rio, one of the oldest Mexican restaurants on the Riverwalk. We also went to a Spurs Game!! It was a blast.

The next day we started to unload the trucks and started setting up. We also went on a ghost tour.

Andrea, Emily, me, Shannon, Karen, and Lindsey ready for our ghost tour with our ghost finding gadgets in hand. Look out here we come.

One last pic

First day of general session, let the fun begin :)

Me and my friend Angie

During Donna's presentation we got to help her do the Happy Dance. It was so much fun. We had a few practices at the home office and a few practices on our own. I hope everyone enjoyed it as much as we did doing it.

One of the all attendee giveways. Man it sure takes a while to pack those babies up.

Laura and Cindy chillin in the staff office.

Shiloh and I ready to pass out another prize patrol.

This was our set and main stage. Our theme was My Way.

Just being funny.

Leadership was fabulous and so was the regional after.

Carrie, Shannon and I ready to eat at my favorite mexican resturant in San Antonio called Rosarios. We may or may not have eaten there twice while we were there. It's so good. Now I'm craving their salsa. Oh it's so good. So good we waited over an hour to eat there one last time.

Carrie, Dave, Me and Brian.

The next day we went to lunch on the Riverwalk

Once again Leadership was awesome. Until next San Antonio, Thanks for a great week.
