Race For the Cure
Saturday I ran in the Race for the Cure with my sister Steff and my cousin Jen and her friend Jane. It was so much fun.
This is my third year running in this race. I'm all about the T-shirt and the free stuff. It's tradition before the race to get the abc 4 tatoo. It's my favorite part, well besides finishing the race.

My family always laughs at me because I am not a runner but I still participate in the race. My mom asked if I ran a couple miles throughout the week to practice. I laughed and said no I just do it then I am sore for a couple of days :) It is really fun to be a part of something so big. I can't wait for next year.

New Kids on the Block
So a couple weeks ago it dawned on me that when we are in New York so are these guys.
I think it would be totally awesome to see them perform on the Today show. I won’t lie, I am a little interested to hear their new music. This takes me back to the BYU Marriott Center in 1990 for their concert. Oh the good old days.

Weekend Fun!
What a weekend. Friday night I met my friends Stacy and Elizabeth for dinner and a movie. We went to one our favorite places, Cabo Grill. After dinner we went to the movie Made of Honor, with Patrick Dempsey. He is so dang cute and I thought it was a cute show.
Saturday we had a Stampin' Share for Girls. We wanted to know what the next generation likes in the craft and rubber stamping world. We had about 49 girls attend. I was incharge of a group of thirteen year olds. It was a lot of fun.

Me, Shannon and Cindy snapping a quick picture before the afternoon classes start.
After we finished cleaning up I went home and planted myself on my love sac for a little relaxation. I didn't think I would be that tired but I sure was. After my little nap, I went to dinner at Cafe Rio with Jen and her friend from work. We celebrated Cinco de Mayo a little early.

Later that night my sister Steff and I met up with Jen and Jane at Scooplogy. Which is a fun ice cream place. If you are ever in the Fort Union area and are craving ice cream I would totally suggest going.

Weekend of Stamping in Midway
Last weekend my friend Shannon planned a stamping get away to her parent’s house in Midway. It was so much fun. We decide to do a Pop Culture book which actually turned into a book about my favorite things. All week long we were putting together a list of our favorite things like, TV shows, movies, books, music, places to eat and shop, movie quotes and of course the list of who we think is pretty hot. I tried to narrow it down to my top 10 faves but that was not possible, mine is more like top 25 and then some :)
Did I mention the spread of goodies we had. Oh my gosh. Seriously! Anything you were possibly craving was there. We made sandwiches for lunch with Shannon’s new sandwich maker, which was totally awesome and had a great salad made by Christa. Plus cookies and Swedish fish (one of my faves that was definitely on my list) Chips, licorice, starbursts and of course Diet Coke and Dr. Pepper. You can’t stamp the night away without your favorite beverage.
We watched Alias until 2:00 am, which was on many people's top 10 list for TV shows. Here is the gang Christa, Jaimey, Shiloh, Angie, Me and LeAnn. (Shannon was taking the picture. )

Jelly Belly- Bean Boozled
So it is defiantly a Friday in the office today, and my co-worker brought in a box of Jelly Belly’s. The bean boozled ones to be exact. If you aren’t familiar with these you have 50/50 chance of eating a good flavor or a really really nasty favor. The trick is they are the same color so you really have no idea until you eat it.
Here are your options:
Skunk Spray or Licorice- Pencil Shavings or Top Banana- Rotten Egg or Butter Popcorn- Toothpaste or Berry Blue- Ear Wax or CafĂ© Latte- Vomit or Peach, Booger or Juicy Pear- Moldy Cheese or Caramel Corn- Baby Wipes or Coconut, Black Pepper or Plum. The only rule was you couldn’t spit it out.
I went for the Baby Wipes or Coconut and lucked out with Coconut. Second try Black Pepper or Plum and I picked Plum. I know really adventurous. Others weren’t so lucky. It was funny to see everyone’s faces when they would either pick vomit, skunk spray or moldy cheese. Yikes!

Milwaukee
Here is my Milwaukee update. Sorry it took so long things have been crazy since I got back. We had a great time in Milwaukee. We had a quick layover in Cincinnati and barely had time to grab a quick snack and then catch our flight to Milwaukee. We took a taxi to our hotel. The taxi drivers don’t like it when you pay with a credit card so we got the lecture on how they get charge an extra 20% when we use credit cards. We tried to explain to the taxi driver that we were on business trip and didn’t have cash. This made the taxi ride not so enjoyable. He was driving like a mad man and I was sitting in the middle and kept sliding around in the back seat. Good thing I am close to my co workers. Plus he charged us extra to cover the 20%; which I think is a lie, 20% seems a little high but whatever I was not going to challenge it. Once we were all checked in we met in the lobby to find a place to eat. We went to the Rock Bottom Brewery. It was really good.
Friday morning we met for breakfast and the topic of conversation was…. Did you feel the earthquake? There was an earthquake in Illinois that was felt in Milwaukee. It totally woke me up at 4:30 AM. I was swaying from side to side in my bed. I was a little confused since it was so early and thought was that an earthquake. It was totally crazy.
Set up for the show went really well. It was faster than I thought it would be. We were setting up for a thousand people. It was our first regional one day show. Once we were done with set up we went to the mall. It was such a ghetto mall. It had some fun stores but completely ghetto. Karah and I were in a store and heard a girl say something to her friend. Karah leans over to me and said I don’t think that girl is a girl. We quickly left the store. Good times. That night we went and ate at place called Moe’s Irish Pub. It was fun.

The hotel had an awesome fitness center. Each treadmill had your own individual TV screen. We watch Law and Order SVU and then House. It was great. My favorite thing was when Jaron got off his treadmill to get some water and then hopped back on he forgot this treadmill was still on and step on the belt and went flying. I laughed so hard I thought was going to die.
Another funny thing is the convention center has a police officer made out of wax. He seriously looks real so we had to take a picture. Jaron and I were getting a little freaked out standing so close. Karah had no problems putting her arm around him :)

Oh I forgot on the first night we were walking to the mall and saw the Girls Gone Wild bus so we had to take a picture. It is kind of hard to see but it's there.

Good Times in Milwaukee. Oh by the way we got the same lecture about credit cards from the taxi driver on the way back to the airport. I almost have the lecture memorized :)
