The King and Queen of Country Music

I finally got to see George Strait in concert. The first of April George Strait and Reba came in concert. It was Awesome!! I loved it. I've been waiting to see George Strait forever.
Lee Ann Womack was the first act of the night, she was good. It was fun to hear some of her old stuff.

Reba was up next. She was Amazing. I love seeing her in concert. She sang some of her new stuff and some of her old stuff, I love it when they do that.

Here comes Reba in a taxi to sing Fancy! And their she is in her Red dress

Here comes Gorgeous George!

The stage was in a diamond and George would sing two songs and move to the next corner, then he would sing two more songs and move to the next corner. I loved it. He also sang some of my favorite oldies and of course his new ones.

This concert was definitely one of my faves!

Golfing

In April, I took a day off work and headed to the golf course. This was the mine and my cousin Jen's first time out for the year.

First time out was a little rough. Lots of double bogey's, my new fun pink golf ball in the water, and Jen may or may not have left her golf club on hole 3 :)

It can only get better right??

Happy Birthday!

Back in May I turned 32! WOWZA!! How did that happen. My co workers bought these gorgeous flowers for me.

And this hilarious card.

I just don't even know where to start with this. I sent some old convention photos to my friend, apparently I forgot to delete photos of me enjoying a little dessert in my hotel room. But hey it got me some alone time with Kenny :)

Angie, Me and Jana , we went to lunch at Kneaders.

Later that night I went to my parents for a birthday celebration.

My sister Jamie called just as everyone was singing and and I was blowing out my candles so we kept her on the phone.

Oh Yeah! I blew out all the candles in one try. (It's getting harder each year)

Well here's to another year. I hope all my wishes come true!

Spring Regional Season Part 2

Our third regional of the Season was in Hartford Connecticut. We had a layover in Detroit and then got delayed for a few hours. It was kind of annoying and really warm in the airport.

Shannon and I in the airport waiting for our flight. Shanny's sportin' her green earrings for St. Patrick's Day!
Hanging out with my peeps during the show.

A few pictures I took around the convention center.

Our Last stop for the season was Orlando, Florida. The weather was AWESOME!!

The view from my hotel room. I may or may not have sent this to my family when they were in the middle of a snow storm :) They were jealous!

A quick pic by the pool.

Oh the Backstage lounge. Scene of the crime, Leadership 2009!! Oh what a night :)

After we finished setting up for the show we walked over to Johnny Rockets to eat lunch.

You can't go wrong with a shake!

The Gang! Sandra, Glenda, Shelli, Robynn, Donna, Carrie, Me and Shannon, After the show Friday night.

A pic of the beautiful blue sky and palm trees.

There was also a MegaCon convention going on. It was crazy. I've never seen so many people/ adults dressed up as their favorite comic character. I was shocked by the skimpy skimpy outfits people were wearing.

The last night we were there we went to dinner with some demos. We went to a Greek place called Tavern Opa. It was so good. Carrie and I ready to eat the hummus we smashed ourselves. It was amazing.

OPA! This restaurant was so fun and crazy. They started throwing napkins in the air and yelling OPA! And then the dancers came out.

Orlando was a blast, too bad we couldn't have stayed longer and enjoyed the sunshine.

Spring Regional Season Part One

Once again we had an awesome Spring Regional Season, too bad I didn't have time to blog about it right after it happened. We started out in Minneapolis, MN. Did I mention it was in February and really really cold. Good thing the town has walkways everywhere so we only had to go outside once, it was -7 and the wind was awful.
After setting up for the show we went to dinner. Cindy, Brian, Me, Shannon and Glenda.

A view from my hotel room.

Minneapolis is also home of the biggest mall. Mall of America! It's such a big place I always get lost, but it has some fun places to eat.

Shannon, Brian, and I snapping a pic during the regional

Shannon, Glenda and me

Vancouver, BC-

Our next stop was Vancouver, BC. I love going to Vancouver. It's such a fun place.

Enjoying some delicious Fish and Chips. Robynn, Donna, Carrie and me.

As we were shopping we found a cupcake place. I'm always up for a cupcake.

The view from my hotel was awesome. I could just sit and stare out the window.

Friday was such a gorgeous day, a little cold but gorgeous. The next day we had snow.

Apparently downtown Vancouver doesn't usually get snow; it only snows in the mountains, I guess it came just for us! The only problem is the town pretty much shuts down when they aren't use to snow; but that didn't stop us we bundled up and headed out to find something to eat.
Carrie, Shannon, Glenda, Donna and me

The next morning we woke up and there was a couple inches of snow on the ground.

Sunday morning before our flight I walked around and saw the Vancouver Olympic Cauldron

I love the Olympics and it was so cool to see some of the things from it.

It was so crazy that the weather was this one day

and this the next

I love Vancouver and hope to go back again soon.
