September Catch Up-Swiss Days and The Pope Reunion

I've been such a bad blogger. Where has the time gone. Back in September I went to Swiss Days. Steff and I couldn't wait to get up there and eat our favorite Ham and Swiss Sandwich. The food is always so good. My cousin Preston said it best when he said "It's only one day you have to indulge in everything" So I usually do. Plus you can't forget the scones with the awesome berry jam. Now I'm craving all the Swiss Day goodness. Can it be Labor Day weekend again?

Melissa and I enjoying our scone :)

I also went to my Family Reunion. I love this reunion. When I tell people I'm going to a family reunion they always say "Oh I'm sorry" and I have to say "Oh no, I love my family reunion". We went down to St. George and stayed with my Grandma and Grandpa Mills's. Before heading over to the Pope Reunion we went shooting. It was so fun. It's always a great time when you can hit something.

Dad, Steff and Grandpa Mills getting ready to go shoot.

Every year at the reunion we have a raffle to make money for the reunion next year. This year I won a ton of fun things. It was awesome.

Everyone just chillin' and waiting for dinner to start.

Lori, Dad, and Mom

We always have a fun talent show the last night of the renuion. We have some very talented family members. I love to sit in my lawn chair and just listen to everyone playing music and having a jam session. The only bad thing was it started to rain so we had to move the party inside. It was still fun just not the same.

Thanks for a great reunion, Can't wait for next year :)

My Flu shot BUDDIES!!!

A couple weeks ago my co-workers and I went and got our flu shots. Karah did all the research and found out Walgreen's was accepting our insurance and the flu shots were free. Angie, Jana and Karah were all over it. I on the other hand needed some extra encouragement. I'm a big wimp when it comes to needles.

Me, Jana and Karah.

Angie, Jana and Karah.

After our shots they gave a heart that said I got a flu shot for.... and you could write someones name. I of course put myself . Karah is pregnant so she did for her baby and Angie just had heart surgery so she did for her heart. But the one that made me laugh was Jana....

It's hard to see but she said to support Lisa. Ha Ha... I may have been a little nervous to get my flu shot. Thanks for the the support guys! I hope we don't get sick the year.

A week and a half ago I attended the Cincinnati Regional. It was an awesome show. We had so much fun.

Donna, Me and Carrie

Rosie and I. Rosie was one of my helpers. Thanks to all my helpers for doing such a great job.

Me and my new friend Sharon. You're so Awesome!!!! I'm glad I got to meet you :)

Bonnie and I posing for a pic.

Shannon, Me and Carrie just chillin during one of the stamping times.

After the show on Friday we went shopping at Macy's. Their headquarters is in Cincinnati so we had to check it out. Then we went to dinner at Rock Bottom. We were starved and the food was so good. After Dinner Darlene and I told everyone about an ice cream place we found and we had to go back. (key word is go back, the ice cream was so good we had it every night we were there)

Shannon, Shelli, Darlene and me eating our ice cream at Graeters. Seriously it was the best.

Saturday night we were walking to dinner and I noticed some police cars stopping traffic and I thought what is going on here, I turned around and saw five buses, well they stopped right in front of the Hilton hotel. We hurried and crossed the street and made our way up to the red velvet rope just in time to see the Denver Broncos getting off their buses. Hello!! It was so awesome. They were dressed in these amazing suits and they smelled so good. AAAHHH!! I didn't know a single one but I sure snapped pictures.

Bonnie, Shannon and Carrie deciding where to eat.

The gang on the shuttle on the way home. What an experience! You never know what you are going to get until it shows up. Many memories come from these shuttle rides :)

Cincinnati was awesome Way to go on a Great Show everyone.

The Keith Urban Concert!!!!

Many of you know Keith Urban is one of my favorite country artists, and I couldn't wait for his concert. We had awesome seats and I took a ton of pictures.

Em, Me and Steff excited for the concert to start!

As we were walking down to our seats I noticed a small stage just to the right of us. I started going crazy because this was not my first concert and I knew he would be making his way back there sometime during the concert. And boy did he. Keith walked right in front of us to get to the stage. I even got to touch him as he went up the stairs. I was in heaven. AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!! It was so awesome.
As you can tell I'm super excited to be that close to him.

Hello Mr. Keith Urban :)

Oh it was such a great concert. I didn't want it to end. He is always so entertaining and puts on one of the best concerts. I can't wait for next year. Hopefully we won't have to wait two years to see him again. Until then thanks for a great concert :)

Site Visit to Phoenix

A week after convention we went to Phoenix for a site visit. Phoenix is the destination for our Leadership Conference in January. All I have to say is Phoenix was HOT HOT HOT!

Once we landed and grabbed our bags we were waiting for our transportation and we were told that President Obama was at the airport and traffic was not moving in or out of the airport. ( He was attending the Veterans of Foreign Wars conference and spoke earlier that morning.) So we waited for about a half hour for him and his family to board Air Force One and fly away. Which we totally saw Air Force One when we landed and were taxing to our gate. I tried to get my camera out but apparently I was too slow. Plus I thought my co worker was just teasing me until I saw it with my own eyes. It's a big plane.

Cindy, Jana and I at the airport just chillin'

One of the places we ate lunch at was TGI Friday's that over looks the Arizona Diamonbacks field. It was really cool to see the field and how awesome it is that you can eat your lunch or dinner and watch a baseball game. Too bad the diamondbacks had an away game. We actually really teased my co worker Cindy when she said she wanted to eat at TGI Friday's, we all laugh and said Cindy you can eat there at home why don't we try something new. Well that all changed once we saw the field; and then we had to apologized to Cindy :)

The awesome field

The Girls

We tried to set my camera on a chair and set the timer but it actually focused on the railing instead of us. Oh well.

Phoenix was so hot. I seriously thought my flip flops were melting on the side walk. It was crazy. I can't wait to go back to in January but I think I'll pass on going back in August.

Life According to.....Kenny Chesney

I saw this on a few blogs and thought I have to do this, it looks so fun.

So here it is My Life According to...Kenny Chesney

Using only song names from ONE ARTIST, cleverly answer these questions. Try not to repeat a song title. It's a lot harder than you think!

Pick your Artist: Kenny Chesney

Describe yourself: She’s got it all :)

How do you feel: Got a Little Crazy Last Night

Describe where you currently live: In a Small Town

If you could go anywhere, where would you go: On the Coast of Somewhere Beautiful

Your favorite form of transportation: She Thinks My Tractor’s Sexy

Your best friend: The Road and the Radio

You and your best friend are: The Good Stuff

What's the weather like: When the Sun Goes Down

Favorite time of day: The Woman With You

If your life was a TV show, what would it be called: Back Where I Come From

What is life to you: Be As You Are

Your relationship: Anything But Mine

Your fear: Never Gonna Feel Like That Again

What is the best advice you have to give: Everybody Wants to Go to Heaven (but nobody wants to go now)

Thought for the Day: No Shoes, No Shirt, No Problem

How I would like to die: There Goes My Life

My soul's present condition: I’m Alive

My motto: Livin’ In Fast Forward

So there you have it, I think everyone should do this. I keep thinking of all my other favorite artists and how perfect some song titles are, you might see another posts in a couple months :)
